Michael Sheldon - Contract IT Director


Both of Michael's parents were born and raised in Walsenburg and in 2005 he and his family relocated from Denver to Walsenburg.

Michael started his technology career in 1987 writing Pick System modules for a McDonnel Douglas Computer Aided Dispatch system. In 1989 he contracted with AT&T as a business phone systems technician and began developing add-on software modules for several popular business phone systems.

He has worked as a systems architect for Corporate Express and Level(3) Communications in Broomfield and managed desktop and server infrastructure for several Fortune 500 companies.

Since August of 2007, he has contracted with the City of Walsenburg to manage all technology related services.

Michael and his wife, Lori, have three children; John, Nancy, and Tommy.
