POLICE OFFICERS
The City of Walsenburg Police Department is currently accepting applications for the position of Police Officer in order to establish an eligibility list. Applicants for this position must meet the following minimum requirements: Must be at least 21 years of age; have a valid Colorado driver's license; have a high school diploma or equivalent; be certified as a Peace Officer in the State of Colorado by the Colorado Peace Officer Standards and Training Board as a Class 1 Peace Officer; have no felony convictions; be able to possess a firearm. Persons interested in the position must complete a City of Walsenburg Police Application. Applications may be obtained here or from the City Clerk's Office, 525 South Albert Avenue, Walsenburg, Colorado. We are continually accepting applications.
