Since the Railroad Depot is closed the Walsenburg Work Force Center aka---employment service---will be at the Community Center, (Tenth and Russell Streets) for the next few weeks until the depot can safely be occupied.   There is no phone available--- you have to walk in. 
Mondays and Wednesdays until further notice hours 9:00 a.m. to noon and 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

The City of Walsenburg Building Inspector/Code Enforcement Office and Streets and Alleys Department remind property owners:

As owners they are responsible for maintenance of their alleys by

Ordinance 940, 940A, and 940B.
As a property owner you are responsible to get rid of tree limbs and branches. Downtown merchants are reminded they are responsible for weed control in their alleys.



Special needs when attending a City Council meeting. As a PUBLIC SERVICE, citizens that have special needs are to contact the City Clerk so that the City of Walsenburg is aware of that need and perhaps can make plans to meet those needs ADA compliance issues. E.g. hearing impaired, wheel-chair bound, need translator if attending City Council meeting or a signer.
